Current Status

1.20 – Starting Tuesday, Jan. 20, crews will be working along West Austin Avenue to install new light poles and complete median landscaping, including boulder placement and drainage improvements. Work will occur intermittently over the next two to three weeks as crews move from area to area. At least one lane in each direction will remain open at all times, but drivers should expect shifting traffic patterns, short-term lane closures and occasional overnight work. Message boards will be used to provide advance notice of traffic changes, and access to nearby schools and businesses will remain open throughout construction.
