Fletcher Drive is one of the corridors selected for the Town of Erie's first Neighborhood Speed Management Program projects. Thank you to everyone who participated in the first round of voting.

The program includes several steps: data collection, a neighborhood meeting, and a review of traffic calming measures. Those steps are complete, and community input has narrowed the field to two remaining options. The Town is now seeking a final round of input from residents in the Northridge neighborhood affected by the improvements.

The survey will be open until August 21, 2026. Your input will be one of several factors used to determine the final solution for this corridor. Following the close of voting, the Town will move into design of traffic calming measures in September 2026, with installation planned for October 2026.

Both options use traffic calming measures to slow speeds and reduce cut-through traffic.

Option 1 uses a mix of speed cushions and traffic circles, with circles placed at the Fletcher Drive and Baker Lane intersection and the Fletcher Drive and Northview Drive intersection.

Option 2 places only speed cushions, roughly 400 feet apart, to keep traffic speeds low.
