Reliance Park is a neighborhood park adjacent to the Boneyard Dog Park, with all the open space and trail corridors, it actually comes out to about 19 acres!
The current playground is in need of an update and while we have some pretty cool ideas, we've found that our community members (most notably the younger aged variety) ultimately are the experts in playgrounds. So we'd love to hear from them on what spinner, climber, and play panel they'd like to see.
Note: This project is strictly a playground replacement, we do not have the funds or infrastructure at this site to add things like a splash pad or bike park. The images below are the items we need help choosing between. However, we need you to act FAST so that we can get this playground replaced before the end of the year!
Spinner Choices

- Cozy Cocoon: Designed for children who need a cozy space to escape to when overstimulated. The spinning motion and interior tactile experiences assist children in relaxing. The windows on both sides allow for adult supervision, while the child feels enclosed in the space.
- Spin Cup: Stir up playtime with tons of spinning fun.
- Loopy Whoop: Kids start the spin and their body movements determine the speed.

Sculpted Climber Choices

- Bear Sleeping Over Log: Bear climber with tunnel crawl
through log.
- Ladybug Tunnel: Floral ladybug climber with a tunnel.
- Green Frog: Sculpted climber with no tunnel.

Play Panel Choices

- Animal Locator Panel: Two-sided panel promotes animal recognition. Builds attention spans, cognitive thinking and self-confidence.
- Slide and Learn Panel: Promotes color, number and shape recognition.
- Animal Footprints Panel: Custom educational panel for animal footprint identification. This panel ties into the existing animal footprint details of the park.
